A special service in Sydney on Sunday, May 15 will be held to mark International Day Against Homophobia, the title of the service is ‘Healing Homophobia', Pitt Street Uniting Church minister Revd. Ian Pearson, said homophobia "was a sin and in need of healing", "Heterosexism, the idea that heterosexual people are superior to homosexual people, is like racism," Pearson said. "Prejudice robs us all of our common humanity."
