 This Is Oz is an online photo gallery where people can help fight discrimination against Australia’s gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) community. Part art project, part human rights campaign, This Is Oz is all about making Australia a place where everyone belongs.

We'll be updating our homepage and photo gallery daily with our favourite images and pics of our celeb friends, so come back and visit soon!

hey john i no how u feel i came out to my mates n they were ok bout it then we planned to go out on the weekend and they decided to bash me so much for being gay i was in hospital for almost a month

I am dumbfounded that people would be such cowards! I can't understand how anybody could do such a thing to anybody else - gay or straight! I am not gay but just can't understand how being gay or straight is even considered when determining if someone is a good person or worthy of respect.

John I don't know you but I wish I could take the pain of that experience away for you... X
