This Is Oz is an online photo gallery where people can help fight discrimination against Australia’s gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) community. Part art project, part human rights campaign, This Is Oz is all about making Australia a place where everyone belongs.

So many GLBT country folks think they need to move to the city to come out - thanks for reminding us all that GLBT people are everywhere and the we have the right to be! Love your work.

I'm from a small country town in nsw and grew up without peer support in regards to coming out from a young age. there is a very big need for country areas to be more open minded these days, without the loving support from my immediate family i could have gone off the rails.
Lets get the support OUT there!
