I love this site and all it stands for... and I agree with the person in this photo - the gender of your partner shouldn't make you a target, nor should it diminish your rights (eg the ability to be "legally" married to the person you love if thats what you choose).
The last line however seems a bit discordant to me. Perhaps I'm wrong, but shouldn't love NOT be a political act? Shouldn't it be about the emotions and connections between two people and not about their gender, race, religion etc? Don't love me as a political statement... love me for who I am
