Well done boys. I had to move to the UK to marry my husband, leaving my family and friends behind and our marriage means nothing to the Australian Government. It wasn't until I left and came to a more progressive country that I was even aware of just how insular and backward a lot of Australian society is. I am embarrassed that a ground breaking country like Australia is being over taken by countries like the UK that 5 years ago I would never have associated with "forward thinking".
will continue to add my voice to the campaign so that people like yourselves are allowed the same rights as all. It doesn't affect anyone but yourselves so why should anyone else have a say in what you can and can't do with your lives?
All the best, keep your hopes up, hopefully it will all change soon.
John
Thanks John!
It will be interesting to see what falls out of this election uncertainty. There has been quite a bit of media coverage of the topic in the last few weeks. Thanks for your good wishes.

I love this! Please send it to the frightened pollies who won't stand up for the rights of all humanity because they 'might not get their votes'. Our government sold out on us a long time ago..
Keep up the push, we have been together for 31 years but due to the fact we are in an open gay relationship we are not equal to all other Australian's when it comes to marraige, superannuation and other matters. When will the Australian Commonwealth Government makes as all equal
