This reached me - a majority of people believe that by not "going out of their way" to harm others who they see as different from themselves; they are including them/not discriminating/being prejudiced/homophobic.
Not true.
The biggest saddness comes from having others exclude you - not converse with you/not invite you to be part of the everyday events of their lives, not ask to be part of the everyday events of your life i.e. not accept, nor celebrate your happiness. Not contribute to your life, nor want your contribution.
Unless it is a sham .........of straightness.
Thank you for this photo and the lovely message. It touches my heart.
